Agonda Beach in South Goa is beginning to be recognized as one of best beaches in Goa. This part of Goa was never much popular with the tourists \u2013 something you can easily make out from the very few people you will see strolling the beachline. This is a nice, clean beach which is still unexploited to its potential as it is often chosen as an alternative to the Palolem beach. The latter is often overcrowded which makes finding a parking space a Herculean task. If you ask the locals, then Palolem has become commercial and people are now looking for better, lesser explored beaches in Goa. Remember, this beach is not for party animals.<\/p>\n

In case you\u2019re in South Goa, you have to visit this one. While planning a stay at Agonda beach, you must remember that there are not many options for accommodation except for a few beach huts sprinkled along the beachline. Having been there, I would certainly recommend you book a hotel in Palolem and hire a motorcycle or an autorickshaw to reach Agonda. Couples will especially appreciate that the beach is blissfully devoid of crowd. The beach\u2019s cleanliness and the hospitable nature of the vendors add to its pull factor. Choose a beach shack to settle down and it may be hours before you realize you have to get back to your hotel.<\/p>\n
